Extended morning and afternoon school zone

Dear Parents/Carers,

Blacktown City Council recently contacted Transport NSW Greater Sydney Division to request a non-standard school zone time around Blacktown Girls and Boys High Schools. The Girls and Boys High Schools share a school zone with Blacktown North Public School. 

​An extended morning and afternoon school zone (7:30am - 9:30am and 1:30pm - 4:00pm) will soon be introduced for the shared school zone in place for Blacktown Girls and Boys High Schools and Blacktown North Public School. This will be implemented via special orange school zone signage to emphasize the new longer, non-standard school zone times to motorists.
