BGHS Mathematics Teacher Awarded NSW Top Teacher Status

Congratulations to Mrs. Udaya Thangasamy of the Mathematics department at Blacktown Girls High School for being awarded the prestigious status of Highly Accomplished Teacher. She is one of only two Mathematics teachers in NSW to be awarded this level in the teaching profession. 

Education Minister, Rob Stokes, congratulated and presented medals to 11 teachers who achieved Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher accreditation over the past year at a ceremony in September at the Museum of Contemporary Art. They now join a network of 190 teachers who have achieved higher level accreditation in NSW and more than 500 teachers across Australia.​
